I'm a beginning Linux user. I have installed 10.04 version on my Eee pc 1201ha, and having problem with finding software. I was looking for drivers on both Asus and Linux sites and also on other resources but haven't found anything.
In generally, is 10.04 version is capable with eee pc 1201ha? Also if someone has links to drivers that would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

I think even Ubuntu 9.10 can recognize your netbook well, 10.04 should have better hardware support. I think the only problem you will meet is wifi, or wireless.. see this link, may be it helps.. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardwareSupport/Machines/Netbooks

Hey there,

I think your 1201HA might have the GMA 500 is that correct? This franken-beast has known driver issues with about every OS including Linux.

This thread in the multimedia forum might help, lot of work from folks trying to get the best performance: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1229345

Hope this helps.
