I am using Ubuntu Netbook Edition 10.04 in my Intel Classmate (this modification for the Brazilian government: http://www.cceinfo.com.br/uca/ ).

The netbook comes originally with the Metasys OS, which comes with the Intel Desktop Switcher app to change the screen resolution.

The only thing that lacks on my UNE is something like that app. The network configuration screen does not fit the UCA's screen because this is too small.

Is there any way to install the Display Switcher in Ubuntu or any other substitute for this software?

press alt & hold the left mouse click to drag the window around.
you can also alt+f7 to move, but it will move from the middle, so if the windows to big it might not be enough.
