Okay, so I told my buddy how great Linux, Open Source, and Unbuntu all are, showed him some of the eye candy on my machine and the guy is sold, wants me to install Ubuntu on his netbook.

So I first tried the Flash drive Ubuntu to see how it responds on his machine.

Thing is, he got his computer for free from Rogers wireless ,,,, well not for free really, he did have to sign a 3 year contract for access to the Rogers 3G network.

But Ubuntu doesn't seem to detect the 3G network on his machine.

Anything I can do?

Thanx and cheers all!
