I am using Ubuntu 10.04 which is dual booted with Mint. Ubuntu detects my CD drive upon boot and will automount picture cd's and music cd's, but cannot mount blank cd's to burn. I have tried Brasero, K3B and GnomeBaker. Any help would be appreciated.

Does this work with mint? or is it a fault in both mint and ubuntu.

Is this something new? or has your drive never detected blank cds? If this is new what, if anything, was happening with your system around the time it stopped working.
