Hello, i have a Packard Bell ALP-Ajax C3 Laptop which is running a SiS graphics card integrated onto the motherboard.. I've been running Ubuntu 9.10 on this laptop and recently decided to upgrade to 10.04.. however the resolution is completely up the left again (had the same problem on 9.10) and im just fed up having to **** about with this crapy graphics card.. im considering just upgrading to another motherboard with a Nvidia Graphics card as i have Nvidia on another laptop and ive had no issues with graphics whatsoever.. is it possible to just change the motherboard with an Nvidia graphics card on it without much hassle or will that just complicate my situation even more?

Thanks for any help in advance :)

Not in a laptop, sorry. Only i very special cases, but parts would in many cases cost less than a new laptop with nvidia GPU.
