ubuntu netbook has exactly the same drivers as ubuntu desktop, it just has a netbook launcher installed

ubuntu netbook won't help, sorry...

your toshiba has a realtek rtl8192se wifi card, I'll get back to you hopefully with a definitive fix after a bit of googling...

you'll find the drivers for the Realtek RTL8192SE here (http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=48&Level=5&Conn=4&ProdID=230&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true#2302)

sorry I couldn't be of more help...
