Hey guys

I have downloaded a tarball off the gnome-look.org website which contains a new theme for my login screen.

The thing is, I am not not too sure how to go about installing this.

I have installed gdm2setup as instructed by another website/forum but it hasn't given me any clear indication of what I need to do.

Can anyone please help?

can you show us a link to the theme?

the theming system for newer versions of ubuntu's login screen is completely different from older versions.

Those are incompatible with Ubuntu 9.10 and Up. So you can't use it with Lynx

that is the link to the gdm theme.

Any ideas on how to install it?

yup, that cannot be installed onto the current versions of ubuntu.

if you love that login screen's background, though, you can set it as the login screen background using ubuntu tweak.
