Really depends on what you need. Do you have thin clients or are the workstations full-fledged computers? Are all your users going to be running Ubuntu, or just the server? What type of services do you need the server to provide? Mail, file&print sharing? Do you have Active Directory policies?

Perhaps we should go over what you currently have and we can discuss what you need.

hi,

i did some volunteer work for partimus (http://www.partimus.org/) a few weekends ago. they had what seemed to be pretty much the ultimate school setup. netboot automated installs for new computers, all sorts of great stuff.

toss em an email?

next time i meet them in person (& especially if i meet the guy that actually developed the deployable platform) ill bring it up. that may be a month or two from now.
