Linux + Full Tilt Poker Graphics

Hello, everyone! Great to know you exist! : )

I'm a new Ubuntu user and I'm really confident using it, It's really smooth and good looking. All in all I'm really satisfied.
I used to solve problems with Google, but todays problem is kinda different. Actually, I did solved it, but let me explain ...
When I installed the FT client with WINE it worked great. Today I started it and It required an update, after confirming the update I restarted the client and all the fonts were totally ruined and unreadable. It was obvious that the problem is in the Font or Graphics folders, so I deleted the current FT version and installed an older one, copying the Font+Graphics and then after doing the update, replacing the updated folders with the old ones. That worked. But I'm still worried, because these updates, one day, will have to be installed and with that confrontation between Linux and FT update I'll be totally stuck. I'm not sure if it's there any way to make Linux work with the new Graphics of FT?
