I know there's tons of guides out there showing Windows applications vs Linux applications, which allows Windows users to find applications that are equivalent to the Windows apps they're already familiar with.

How about KDE and Gnome applications? I'm curious about KDE (QT) applications that compare to Gnome applications. I'm not asking for what's better or worse, I just want to find true KDE applications that rival the Gnome applications I'm already familiar with as I begin to use KDE more and more.

Any ideas or input?

I have also been curious about that but Gnome vs. Xfce. I am familiar with most Xfce programs and it is what Im most comfortable with.

Hi,
I tried to search Google but I'm not finding any lists for KDE (and Xfce) alternatives to the common Gnome applications.

Some KDE application resources are:
http://www.kde.org/applications/
http://kde-apps.org/
http://qt-apps.org/

Xfce is a little harder to shop for, because you would probably want the lightest weight GTK applications that require the fewest Gnome, KDE and QT dependencies. There are alternatives out there though. One of my favorite alternatives is "xfburn" to use intead of k3b, gnomebaker or brasero.
