I could carry on and on but I will get straight to the point.
When you are trying to do an install of software it is imperative
to have working software.
Today I tried several to show someone how to install a version of
linux (silence is golden). The software was delivered sleeved and
labeled but had not been tested previous to install attempts. The
install failed because md5 sums did not match. I have learned a
lesson to test the sum prior to attempting again. But that does
not say that I have not given that same software away, did those
discs work?
I made an assumption that the software worked because it was
sleeved and labeled.
Please do not leave a bad first impression.
