altfocus

Hi, I used to work as a jr. solaris admin for a major site but now I do something else entirely. I never ran a non-Windows GUI until I felt I needed a linux box and installed Ubuntu. I wanted my SO to be cool with da *nix so I encouraged use of my lt and now...

So the 1st user is me, "altfocus". I can change altfocus's pswd, and I can create another user. But how do I change the uh... login user?? Damn if I can just get a login screen to come up and have SO pick that name and not give out my "altfocus" or root pswd I can make it work. I've searched and read all the forums I can take. Any hints much appreciated, thanks!

If you set the machine to login automatically then go to Sys Admin Login Window and select the appropriate option.
