Wow, EePC 1005PE UNR 10.04

Fantastic job with UNR 10.04. I just installed it on my eepc and everything worked right off the bat. Not only does it work, it works so much better than the gimped Win7 Starter it came with. I've held off on UNR in the off chance I may need Windows for something but the final nail in the coffin on Win7 for me on this netbook was seeing that I couldn't even change the desktop background without the eepc software.

UNR has really set this machine free for me. I am so grateful for the UNR release, it fits perfectly with my needs for this netbook.

I am having the same experience with my Asus Eee PC 100HE. I I started using Ubuntu with Hardy Heron with all sorts of issues, mostly wireless. But 10.04 works perfectly for me right out of the box. Everything works.

I have now said goodbye to Windows on my personally owned computers forever. THANK YOU Mr. Shuttleworth.
