Hi.
ive recently bought a kinobo webcam from amazon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kinobo-Megapixel-Webcam-Ubuntu-Desktop/dp/B002UAV8LS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1281139574&sr=8-1
i plugged it in and tested it using gstreamer-properties, the video works fine and so does audio when set to oss, my main concern is however when i uset pulseAudio volume control and select input it says
no input devices can be found the same happens when I use System>Preferences>Sound no input for my mic can be found, therefore I can not control the volume etc...also my Skype is having problems with finding both audio and video, when I select my web-cam from
Video Devices and click test I get a blank screen ?
there is also a problem with sound, i've tried using echo123 (Skype test call) and no output can be heard and when i click on sound I cant seem to change anything?
Thanks to anyone who can help me out with this mess !

i know i havent provided any information about my configuration files but i dont know what you need so tell me :)

dn* Yes i have been able to get the kinobo webcam working, all i
needed to do was change my sound settings because i had it selected as
Analog 4.1 all i needed to do was change it to Analog 4.1 + input and
it works fine, the webcam is great quality and it's got very bright
LED's.
Hope this helps, please contact me again if you need any more
info.
Sincerely
