Hi,

I have my Vista laptop connected to a Xubuntu desktop. I can use UltraVNC viewer to remotely access my Xubuntu computer, but only once it is logged in. Can someone help me to be able to login remotely aswell. I deally I want to have the Xubuntu computer with no monitor, so need to be able to log into it from my Vista computer

Thanks,
Alex

ow and you could let the ubuntu machine login automaticly on startup. by this you bypass the loging thing.

yeah thanks, that's one way round it. Only problem is the IP address of Xubuntu computer changes at each login. How do I set it to be static?

Thanks,
Alex
