im getting confused.
i use ubuntu 10.04 and the rhythmbox that comes with it.
i have a 30GB video ipod.
ipod plugin is checked.

i was never able to view songs in my ipod from RB,
but i was able to add two albums the 1st time i tried it
just by drag n drop style.
i downloaded 2 more albums but when i try the same method
to add them to my ipod, nothing happens.
did i miss anything? or doing anything wrong?

If they are downloaded iTunes purchased songs they won't work.

I had very similar problems - I think the discussion here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1543577 might help.

I plan to try to get my iPod to sync in Ubuntu when I have the time to sit down and work through it properly - in the mean time, I'm rebooting into vista to sync my iPod and use the TomTom Home software.

Hope that helps.
