Please Use a Compatible Computer
You are using a computer that is not compatible with Homestead. To access the Homestead website, please return to www.homestead.com with a computer running:

Windows 98, 2000, Me, NT, or XP.
Mac OS X running Firefox 1.0 and above

Is there anyway to get around this? I have to log in to see my stats on my website. Cannot even download SiteBuilder.

Checked on Wine Aps and no solution found.

I go to homestead.com and click on free trial and it tells me I have an incompatible browser. Download Firefox 1.0 or greater or IE.
I tried with Firefox 3.6 and Chrome with browser spoofing set to IE8.
They run and advertise Linux servers. Might contact them. if your in the US there is a 1-800.

I have the latest updated Chrome and Firefox browsers. It doesn't work with our operating system. I went to WineHQ and attempted to install Internet Explorer, won't install. I live in the U.S. I did phone Customer Service a few months ago and they said they don't foresee in the near future working with anything but Windows and Mac.

I was hoping we had a way around this.

Browser spoofing is not the issue...I only mentioned it in my post to point out another hindrance to accessing the site. OS is the problem.

As far as I remember you can spoof the OS too with that extension.

I don't believe so, but I would like to be proven wrong, because this would be a great extension.;)

Back on topic....I have found that it is quite possible to enter Homestead if you can find the right proxy server to use. I was able to get inside far enough using a free one, but it doesn't handle cookies like a paid one.

Yes. Don't you recognize the KDE interface?

The problem I have with it is that I cannot post anything to this forum while using this addon. To post this I had to disable it.

How many times you go to homestead per day? Just enable it when visiting homestead. I know, it is inconvenient, but at least you can view the site.

I don't visit very often so I came to the same conclusion. :)

Thank you for giving me the solution.
Take care
