I have the Ubuntu 9.04 cd so decided to install it on my new laptop after installing previously on my PC with no problems. I can't get any internet access on my laptop, on wireless and wired =/ When i try to connect, all I see is "No network devices available"

Any ideas?

uhmm.. why dont you tell us what wireless card and network adapter you are using?

maybe you can look for their drivers on another PC (or SO), get them on your USB and then get then installed :D

sudo lshw -C network should provide a wealth of information about your drivers - if you could post the results...

I fixed it. I just downloaded Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx and installed that. Now the internet works with no problems. Thanks anyway
