How do I make everything one the screen larger? The type is to small to see. I went to System/Preferences/Appearance, but don't see how to do it.

You can choose bigger font sizes in the font tab.

You could also decrease the resolution in System -> Preferences -> Monitors

Under the "Rendering" section at the bottom is a "Details" button. You will find a "Resolution" drop box at the top of the ensuing screen. It is defaulted at 96, but you can increase the size to whatever you like.

Or just press Ctrl + (which involves the shift key on my keyboard)

tc101,

You might also try the Firefox add-on NoSquint: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592/ .

I use it and find that it works quite well.
