I originally installed Ubuntu with Gnome. then got the Xfce DE tack'd on. I personally like Xfce's thunar better than Gnome's nautilus.

Something annoying that happens whenever I boot into the xfce session. (which is all the time.) There seems to be a chance that the desktop will look more like Gnome's then the Xfce's.

Gnome/Nautilus -showing picture thumbnails. Also background and font is changed to what I originally put it as on ubuntu.

and sometimes rarely.. xfce will be used
Xfce/thunar - No picture thumbnails(shows black photo) and different orientation of my files on the desktop. Also shows trash bin. Font and background is changed as what i had originally on the xfce's session.

Panels are kept as xfce's. Just to point that out.

I used

I deleted thunar then had problems with it, I added it back and it still does the same thing using that guide.
