Ok so I currently have Windows 7 Ultimate and Ubuntu 10.04 set on dual boot. I want to make a small partition (something like 20GB) to install and play around with Linux Mint 9 for performance.

Question is, would I be able to reclaim that 20GB disk space if I ever deleted LM9 from the partition? Would I be able to do it through Windows DM or would I need to use gparted from ubuntu livecd?

Hi H

Yes you can reclaim it if necessary.

Seems I'm always taking stuff off to make more room as Ubuntu keeps growing.

Have no idea what Windows DM is, I always use GParted, it's never given me a problem.

Thanks. I've never used gparted before, so I don't really know what I am doing. I guess I'll have to do trial and error tests.

And Windows DM = Windows Disk Management.
