I'm wanting to burn a cd in linux and have it be able to boot on a ps2, so I can play my gba/snes games on my ps2, there are a lot of tools/guides/programs in windows to do this, but because of the power of linux, I know it shouldn't be too hard. I'm just not sure how to do it, I know there is some special way it has to be. Any help greatly appreciated.

I do not own a PS2, nor have I ever burned anything for a PS2, however, if you have a modchip, then I do not see what the problem is. Just burn normally. If you do not have a chip and thier is some way to create that corrupted sector on the disc or whatever method the ps2 uses, what do the guids say, and why are you having trouble on linux? What guids have you tried that are not working or require something that is windows specific (or some burning method k3b or other programs cannot handle)? You're question is so ambiguous, i can't tell if you are asking for someone to point you to a guid to burning ps2 stuff with linux, or if you have attempted it already and had some sort of trouble. Please give some more info and i'll be glad to share what I know.

I apologize for being ambiguous, I'm just really not sure how to go about it. No it's not mod chipped, so I don't think I could just right click and burn an iso. (which i'd have to create) So I guess a guide would help, do you know of any? (i've googled quite a bit, haven't found much)

If its not modded, there's no point in burning cd for your PS... it wont eat copied game cd's
