Ubuntu 9.04 problem

guys, I had this problem in ubuntu in my laptop. bigla bigla na lang nasisira yung pixel ng monitor ko tapos biglang nag hahung tapos yun force shutdown ko kaagad.. :(

any can help me?

yes, at the beginning it starts very well and work properly.. do you think its the problem of the hardware of my laptop?

1. Is everything running OK when you use the Live CD?
2. Are you running compiz? Have you tried disabling it?
3. What is your video card? Use the commands 'sudo lshw' (without the quotes) and check if system has detected your hardware correctly.

I'm not really an expert but hopefully this steps can give other member's more details with your problem.
