As this web site is so busy I am hoping one of you may have knowledge with web and .php. I have had a serious problem develop on my site and my host has disabled the scripting saying there is a permanent server process:(

It is a Joomla based site and the error message sent to my user is:

You don't have permission to access /information/administrator/index.php?option=com_menus&menutype=mainmenu&task=edit&cid[]=55 on this server.

further code from the index page has been hosted on the Joomla site here.

Thank you for reading, if anyone can help solve this problem I will be eternally grateful.

Susan

You may get better help here, than in ABT.

I'm pretty sure a "permanent server process" is normally a run away program or script. An infinite loop, i.e., the script is still running. Sometimes that happens because of user error or a network problem not handled by the script or program. Have you contacted your host to see what they suggest?

Thanks. At first it seemed that my host was going to leave it to me to figure but once I stressed that I had nothing to do with this happening and I am running a community site they removed the file for me and re-activated my scripts.
