Xfce is my all-time favorite desktop environment, but I don't like being limited to the one menu. On my previous desktop, I accidentally managed to replace the one menu with the three default GNOME menus Applications, Places, and System. I know there's an easy way to do this, but I'm not having much luck in my search. I already have GNOME-minimal installed. Is this an Ubuntu Gnome-desktop setting (thus meaning I don't have it, since I'm running PCLinuxOS)?

There is an Xfce panel applet that allows you to add the Gnome panel applets to it - including the main menu one. On Fedora the package is called "xfce4-xfapplet-plugin". Not sure what it is on Ubuntu, but it should come up in a search.
