Hello,
I have "Out of range" problem with ubuntu 10.04. Older versions works great, but this one is ******* with me. I still have "Out of frequency 720x400 61,1Hz" error. I had it on Live CD so I installed it with alternate CD. Now when I want boot, again... I cant even find xorg.conf...
NVidia 8800GTS + Belinea 101715.
Please help me :(.

lol :D

720x400 - what kind of resolution is that? o.O
in 10.04 there is no xorg.conf, your system tries to autodetect stuff (apparently it fails hard) but you are free to create that xorg file and override values the system comes up with.

I guess you dont have the nVidia drviers installed?

System-> Administration-> hardware drivers.

Try that, then when you get the nVida drviers, change the resolution there.

Odd that is gives you 'out of range' on 720x400 61,1Hz, but I would guess thatn monitor cant use any refresh rate hgiher than 60Hz. It can go much higher in resolution though (up to 1280x1024)

Hmmm.. Sorry, but how I can install drivers if I cant install Ubuntu? ;) But those drivers was giving me same error on ubuntu 9.04 or now on OpenSuse 11.2. I dont know why I have this bad luck.
And that monitor supports 75Hz, but only with 1280x1024.
