What did he mean for the sound fix/

Hello All

In another thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1531958 Tim found the answer for his no sound. I did not understand his fix. below is his description.

"wooo hooo, i got it to work. i went into the mixer, and then Output, instead of selecting my hdmi audio, i selected Internal Audio Analog, and the sound started to come out. thanks for everyones help"

prefernces>sound>hardware. theres two options there. on for internal audion, and another that says juniper hdmi audio.

maybe i should have called it "Sound Preferences" instead.

I followed your directions: preferences>sound>hardware then I had to pick "Analog Stereo Output"
