g15daemon

I have a G15 version1 (blue backlight) under Ubuntu 10.04. Everything works so far but i wonder how i can configure g15daemon. I would like the backlight to be at the brightest level after the system has started. Is there a configuration file or something similar to change the behavior of g15daemon?

The manpage does not mention anything about setting the brightness, so maybe it does not have that ability.

If there is a key that does this it maybe possible to do some thing with a bash script.
