Sounds like a job for the devs. So devs, did the fix get in release in time?

Could that be one of the reasons that Ubuntu ships with Firefox 0.9.x?

No Ubuntu started off using the lastest version. But due to Firefox crashing on pop ups they reverted it. But I just install the newest version anyway. Dosen't have the problem if you download it yourself.

I don't seem to like tabbed windows anyways so I see no exploit problem for me. Im sure this is one for all FireFox 0.10.1 users to know about!
Thank you for posting :!:

One of our modifications to Firefox has been the patch(es) for these security vulnerabilities. The 1.0 preview release was incredibly unstable (crashed when you opened a popup window with JavaScript), and most translations were still incomplete. So, we're using 0.9x with security patches.

I've been here practically since the start; just been very busy with various real-life events lately. I believe a couple of other developers also occasionally check in.

I've been here from the start also :-). I'm hoping to participate in the near ubuntu events/activities/releases.
