computer freezes when I try to quit orca

My computer freezes when I try to quit orca. I have to either cut the power or do that thing with ctrl alt backspace. I'm running 10.04 inside windows. Does this happen if I run it on its own?

It hasn't happened to me before; the worst it ever did was scramble words and not read them correctly (that was in the previous release).
What's the computer/specs, etc.?
What are you running besides orca at the same time?
