I was wondering how I could customize the login screen on 10.04. Under login screen options I don't see anything about changing themes, backgrounds, etc. I've read that earlier versions of Ubuntu were I guess easier to customize?

You may find the following link helpful in editing your login screen.

Thanks for the link, but it this method didn't work for me.

I did find this however if anyone is interested in changing the login screen:

Ahh. This link might work, but you have to install a program. I remember changing my default login screen using lubuntu 10.04, but I can't remember how.
