blue movies

hi
i have just recieved some updates to my system, after the updates my video players are all showing movies in blue.
online videos are fine but all my videos on my laptop are blue.
any suggestions on how to fix this

does this happen with all media players (or several, rather)? mplayer, vlc, totem...

It probably has to do with your video card driver. I remember when I was first trying to install my Nvidia card, and I tried one of the drivers available and when I booted up, all the video players(VLC, Mplayer) made the video look very blue whenever I played an AVI or DVD. It's as if the red channel was missing from every video!

Then I changed my video driver to the one that I have now which works properly.
