I have an strange bug in the desktop prefrences in background section,. Here you can see a video of the bug:

Im not sure how to solve that invisible images problem of yours, but you seem to have another same problem like i do here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1520847):

PS: How you got that display on the right side?

I have all the summer... XD No problem, it isn't a big problem.
