Who are the most supportive of Linux, for example making drivers?
Also, nvidia used to be the best for graphic cards on Linux, are ATI the best now?

Thanks for the link. I would also like to hear peoples opinions on this. And I would like to know which corporate culture was the most pro Linux.

What do you mean by "corporate culture". Redhat is a corporation and so is Google, both are great proponents of FOSS. For hardware you have the System76 vendor, but they don't manufacture (they just put computers together). Both Intel and AMD CPUs work equally great under Linux. ATI video cards have made great progress on Linux, but in my experience NVIDIA is still better (most notably for wine games). Wired cards are a non-issue anymore and wireless is getting there. The only hardware that I think still causes general problems is printers, but I have limited experience there.
