Hi,
Does anyone know how to recover data from a .disk file?
I managed to screw up my Mac bootcamp partition arrangement so that I can no longer boot into Windows, but I can boot into OS X & see the bootcamp files. I had installed Ubuntu from Windows and I can see the Ubuntu files, in particular a folder:
<Bootcamp>/ubuntu/disks
containing home.disk, root.disk, swap.disk and usr.disk
I suspect my valuable data from Ubuntu is in home.disk. But how can I recover it?
I have another machine (a PC) on which I can reproduce the original Windows & Ubuntu installation. Can I somehow mount the .disk files from in there?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Tim
