Here is a screenshot of the problem:
http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/173/mkahawaclient.png
As you may notice, the client computer of which the mkahawa client package is installed is inside virtual box(guest OS) with the user account name pc004 and with the static LAN ip of 192.168.1.4 then the server(host OS) is 192.168.1.2. The program installation says 0% but detail informs successfully installed. Nothing happens after and very confusing
The Ubuntu variat used is Kubuntu.
Please help me...

have you tried the ctl+c then reboot the client? and please use the mkahawa-client-0.0.4.2 at the sourceforge site.
better merge this to mkahawa thread

I have installed new ubuntu, the gnome variant already, to two PCs. One PC is installed with Mkahawa server while the other has the Mkahawa client. The two PCs can ping each other as I have tested but nothing happens in the client PC after installation of the Mkahawa client. The Mkahawa sever also cannot detect the Mkahawa client in the other PC. The two PCs have static LAN IPs configured of 192.168.1.2 for the server and 192.168.1.4 for the client. The username of the server PC is "testicles" while the username of the client PC is "PC004".
Please help...
