does anyone know if there is a better print driver available for the IP4200?
currently using the default (ghostscript?) drivers and my max resolution is 600x600 and at this resolution exhibits very bad banding when printing photos on pro photo paper. I know that the IP4200 is capable of much higher resolution, does anyone know if there is a workaround or better driver which would allow me to use this printer to its full potential?

Actually there is a proprietary driver on the official Canon website that enables more stuff such as print quality selection. It's provided as a 32 bits rpm. I didn't manage to install it, but I would definitely be grateful is someone could give us some indications as for the way to install it under Ubuntu / 64 bits...

Bye !
