I recently installed optical mouse on my PC and then I couldn't boot my PC, then I removed the mouse and everything was ok. The same thing happend to me when I installed an USB stick, it was in my pc while I was booting, and it couldn't boot, when I removed it, it worked fine. how to solve thins problem. after the pc is booted and then when I plug in mouse it work fine and everything work fine but if I boot py with mouse in it it won't start. plz help me

look int the BIOS and may be the primary boot is to USB

my primary boot is HDD. after I press power button and after bios loads up I just se blinking cursor and my PC beeps up to 3-4 times and it calm down. I had the same problem when I left my USB stick pluged in but then my PC didn't beep.

can anyone tell me how to check how much electrical power is needed for good working.

I would guess that the optical mouse is USB? That isnt a power problem, you have some issue with USB.

I had the same problem with my old blackberry on 9.04. It wasn't a mouse, so I just unplugged it, but my boot order was CD -> HDD -> USB. Any chance it is somehow trying to read the mouse as a filesystem? That was the only thing I could think of with my BB.

BIOS recognises my mouse as "USB mouse" but then it won't start OS.

I disabled USB legacy support and it now works fine but I've seen a message:" CPU Fan Error", do you think that I will have problems with CPU Fan or I can ignore this message.
