Hey all, this is actually LUCID by the way (sorry):

So i'm using the package cpudyn to control the scaling/frequency for my Intel T7500 ("Core 2 Duo," 2.2 GHz) processor, and I'm having a bit of an issue here.

I'm using gnome-panels CPU frequency indicators to keep an eye on both cores, and I keep finding that CPU 1 will stay in OnDemand mode while CPU 0 steps up to the full 2.2 GHz all the time... which is leading to differences in temperature over the two cores. It's kind of bothersome, but for all I know this may be how Intel Speedstep is intended to work.

Obviously if I do something pretty intense, both CPU's max out, but most of the time they idle at 800 MHz, and then the first CPU kicks up when I do something.

It may well be that this is a simple problem, or not a problem at all. I don't know enough about it, to be honest. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
