View Full Version : [ubuntu] Remote SSH as a non hidden folder

So I connect to my remote server using Places->Connect to Server.

It then places the folder on the desktop. However if I use any application that works with the file system, I can never see that folder. I know the physical location of the SSH folder can be traced into Home folder -> .gvfs (it is a hidden folder).

However I want the SSH folder to be easily accessible on the file system. Something very similar to "Expand Drive" or "SFTP drive" in windows.

Any ideas?
