Hi,

So my wondering is if I can burn music on a dvd+rw (it is a +rw) and play it in either a dvd player or a stereo, in what format would be best and what program to use. I am not sure what forum to post this in so I started here.

Thanks:)

Some DVD players have mp3 support. You might want to check the manual for your DVD player to see what, if any, formats are supported..

To burn files to a DVD, you can just open the DVD drive in Nautilus, drag some files in, and click "Write to Disc". This is the default option ("Open CD/DVD Creator") upon inserting a blank disc.

Is it possible to burn them in .ogg format(assuming the dvd player will play it I'm going to check) in brasero. I have tried but it won't let me make an audio cd from them only an image file.

I marked it solved because I thought that was going to work.:???:

Yeah it can't play .ogg :( oh well thanks for your help.
