Hello!
I need an easy way to have my computer continuously listen for about 10 commands all starting with an alert command, such as "Computer". This would would be followed by the actual command, such as "main screen turn on". When a proper sequence, such as "Computer, main screen turn on" is recognized, I simply want it to run a binary or bash script I wrote and then continue listening for the next voice command. I do not care about X11 / GUI, and if I cannot have anything else run on the computer but the voice recognition, that is still fine.

Thanks!

You can try VEDICS.

With VEDICS, you can run any application installed in the system using the command "run" followed by the name if the application.

It can also let you access anything visible on the screen by speaking out its name. It also lets you do window operations like close, minimize, maximize etc.

You can download VEDICS from http://vedics.sourceforge.net.

Let me know if you face any problem.

Thanks,
