So basically I'm having a little trouble installing 10.4 . I recently got a new hd, so I can't really install from windows. So I burned a live cd and am currently trying to install from that. I can get past the intro screen where it has that "keyboard equals human" pictogram but I start having problems after that. On the next screen I can access all of the options, f1 though f6, but I can not get any of the main menu options to work. Whenever I try to install the screen immediately freezes and the cd drive starts spinning but then quits spinning after a few seconds. The computer does freezes for all four of the main menu options. I have also tried installing with aipc disabled. It is a hp dv2911us laptop.
