I can't wait using a real font. All the fonts I tried have uneven rendering, I hope this one fixes it.. :(

Here's the video of the UDS session where Bruno Maag introduced the font:

I just scrubbed through the video. Does the camera ever actually point to the screen? If not, that's some pretty stupid filming.

And don't forget the awesome plenary talks on Wednesday:

(Bruno Maag's is the last one).

Short, exciting and inspiring.

Is the presentation from the video 23meg posted available anywhere?
I looked through both the Ubuntu wiki and launchpad and couldn't find anything.
As I said earlier the video is kind of pointless without seeing what Bruno Maag is talking about.

Cool so maverick will have a new font by default? I had been wondering why the hell so many distros use sans as default, its a pretty ugly and space wasting font IMO. One of the first things I do installing any distro is change the font to something nicer like droid sans.

Ok, that's it - I'm back to pen and paper. :P

Find me an enterprise-level font creator that runs on Linux.

Besides, there's no need to be dogmatic about using Windows once in a while.
