I'm a minamalist. If I don't need something, I don't like to install it, so I used the mini.iso for my installation. While GUIs are cool, I like the CLI.

Yesterday, my machine forgot how to do certain things (dhcpcd was one apparently). I couldn't upgrade or install anything. So, because I didn't feel like fighting, I simply reinstalled.

In the past, when I would boot into my new installation, it never tried to "enhance" the resolution. Thus I could see everything during and after boot. But now, the text is smaller than I want it. If I want to have "normal" resolution, how to I get it to do what it did in the past? I know it has somthing to do with /boot/grub/menu.lst but it's not there.
