View Full Version : [ubuntu] I need help concerning a gps receiver I bought!

First of all, hi! I have been using linux 3 years ago and had to switch back to winblows because I needed a few apps it didnt offer me :(
now I am back in linux and I want to know, I have recently bought a gps receiver and I want to use it because I am leaving for a one year long road trip and ill be using it on my net book.
I need to know the best gps app for me

Very interesting. Went to the Linux site, found the Magellan slot, clicked on that and came up with something in Russian. Think it was error 404 about site not found but, since I speak no Russian, I'm not sure.

hah! Thanks for the googling. First result gave me much more than I wanted !!XD Gonna try them and see which is the best for me
