BZFlag desktop Deb. package install help needed

I downloaded a .deb package of bzflag that is supposed to work on Ubuntu.
My question is what are the exact commands I need to use to install the package that is now on my desktop. Thanks for any help you can provide.

sudo dpkg -i bzflag.deb
