Dual boot setup with 10.04 and Vista. I could be wrong, but I swear the battery in my wireless mouse is dying quicker (like in a day or so) when I'm running Ubuntu. I use rechargeables (takes 2 AAs) and they normally go a long time. Sometimes when I'm in Ubuntu the system gets really sluggish... changing batts helps. I just don't remember this happening so frequently under W*****s. But I can't see how the OS would make any difference. Thoughts?

Your batteries probably aren't holding much charge anymore try a fresh set instead of the rechargeables
