Hey,

The "New posts"-link in the Forum Navigation bar disappeared. And Upon clicking the Search drop down menu, and selecting "Find new posts", I end up at the Advanced Search page.

Am I blind, have my Firefox finally lost it's mind, or do other people also have this problem?

Its in the search menu, there is no need to duplicate it on the main nav bar.

I am going to want to click new posts way more often than to see the Map for example.

Also there seems to be a bug when the mouse is over the map it gets bigger.

"Get new post" is available under the search tab.

Bring back the new post option, you have TWO search options!

The get new posts will stay under the search menu, as I stated before we do not need to duplicate it. Putting all search functions together makes more sense.

I'd prefer it away from the search and on the bar... or at least somewhere on the main index, or a user-defined side block, or whatever :D

Anyway: http://ubuntuforums.org/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=121
We could just bookmark this :)

That option was the only one I used.

The extra click (and the "expanding" effect that follows it) is somewhat annoying, to be honest. I think it's important that people use that function, because then messages in all sections will be answered quickly. Hiding it can make people stay in their favourite sections and just hit refresh there because it's easier and more convenient. It was my strategy when I first joined, anyway.

And like noswal already said, the search field is duplicated.

Its staying in the search menu, the minor click is nothing to get all huffy about :)

I agree with this. The Map is a really neat feature, but the New Posts function makes more sense to have one-click-access to.

I still don't like it, but as I said I bookmarked http://ubuntuforums.org/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=121
