View Full Version : [kubuntu] 10.04 BusyBox Error

May 21st, 2010, 09:25 AM

I know software raid is not a good idea, but managed to get 10.04 installed onto Raid 0, it is possible to install 10.04 onto Raid 0 and presumably Raid 1, but booting it I believe is not possible.

So I thought I'll add a 120 GB IDE drive, format it for ext2 and map it to /boot, then configure Grub to install the boot loader to /boot, it got through the install, then rebooted and now I have a BusyBox error, I'll post the error up as soon as I get home from work.

But just wondering if anyone might have some possible clues?

Wow this is weird it booted hmmmm I think I may have a hardware issue, seems to be off and on, I turned on ACPI 2.0 on my bios and she boots perfect...
